Yes. A helper either takes your price or offers a different one. A different price only applies if you accept it; nothing changes until you do.
Cancel from the task page. Cancellation within 24 hours of the agreed start may cost the connection fee; a 10-minute grace period applies before work starts.
Earnings release once the poster approves the proof. On priced jobs, helpers see their earnings after the TASK fee before they accept.
Open jobs show only an approximate area. Your exact address is shared with the person you book, after they are assigned.
Each task has one thread with you, the other side of the task and TASK, the coordinator. TASK answers right away and never claims to pass a message on.
